Today’s world of hustle and bustle puts most of us in the car either commuting, running errands, or pleasure driving. You will want to have a first-aid kit in your vehicle that is well stocked and that is appropriate to your family’s needs. You can, of course, buy a kit that is already assembled for you, but you will save money if you just assemble one yourself. You may not need all the items in a ready-made one or you may need extra items that are specific to your own family on top of it. If you have medical conditions in your family, having these special items in the kit will be necessary in an emergency.

School’s almost out and so travel is going to pick up even more with family trips and activities. A first aid kit was something that I had always been telling myself that I was going to do over and over again. No one knows when they will run into the need to rely on a first aid kit. What you decide to keep your kit in is completely up to you, but whatever the mode needs to be tight to be able to keep water out and all the bandages dry. An air tight storage container can work but I have also seen where people use a tackle box because it already has the compartments. There are lots of lists out there, but the Red Cross has the most trusted list.

Want to know what is in their list? Read the rest of my article at Easthill Jeep.
