I received a copy of Zumba Kids for my review all thoughts are my own.
I have never been a big exercise person. I love to get out and do things. I hate to sit around. But I am not a runner, as much as I want to be. I do not enjoy being on a treadmill or an elliptical. The only type of organized exercise I like is kick boxing and Zumba. It is because it is like dancing. And I love dancing.
My kids love to do Zumba with me, but the moves can be a bit hard for them. And then they get frustrated. Which means they no longer want to do it with me. Then they sit down and want to get back on their electronics. So I was so excited when I heard about the newest game out in the Zumba fitness series, Zumba Kids.
When my girls saw the game, they were so excited. And that was before they even realized that it was a game targeted towards kids. We turned it on and the girls loved the selection of songs. There were several dance types to choose from too, a few latin style dances, and even Bollywood and a Ballet. Willow was so excited about the ballet because she has been asking all the time about a ballet class.
The girls and I loved how easy it was for them to learn the moves. They were not complicated so they did not get discouraged. I loved that there were not suggestive moves and it was very appropriate for their ages. While Willow, age 4, is a little young to do that actual game for points, she loves just following along. And there is also a replay mode.
