Willow misses the cut off for Kindergarten in just one short year. She misses the cut off for the 2014-15 school year by 21 days. But, even knowing she will be the oldest in her class when she does start Kindergarten, I wonder if she will be ready.

I do a lot of homeschooling type things with her, even though she goes to preschool every day. Ihave been that way with all of my kids. But I am not always sure if I am doing the right things with her. Since I am not a teacher, I can teach her the basicas, but school curricula changes often and I want to make sure she is learning everything she needs to know.

I recently learned about a program that can help Willow be where she needs to be. EmbarK12 Online – Over 830 interactive activities to engage your preschooler. It can help me get her use to doing the types of things that she will need in a year. It has age appropiate activities with multimedia activities and games,  that will engage her, and teach her a love of learning. There are 12 units with activiities covering math, language, and literacy, on topics like Travel and Explore, Our World and Story Time. It is perfect for self-guided and independent learning for 3-6 year olds. It is available for $59 for a year subscription, but with a discount from Izea, you can get the program for $29 for a 12 month subscription.. This code, EmbarKSpecial, is available for the next 7 days.

There is also EmbarK12 Comprehensive- Online and hands-on preschool program for your early learner. It is designed for 3-5 year olds, to get them full ready for Kindergarten. With over 1200 age-appropiate, interactive activities and hands-on material. That is over 288 hours. It features 8 thematric units covering 6 subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Music and Art.The Comprehensive kit is available for $288 for a 12 month subcritption, that includes all of the upgrades and hands on kits.

You know you can trust these preschool prgrams because they are from EmbarK¹² Inc. EmbarK¹² Inc is the nation's foremost provider of proprietary technology-powered online solutions for students in Pre-K through high school.

This is a fantastic Kindergarten readiness programs by K12. Try a sample activity today.

I’ve heard great things about this program. I was planning on homeschooling and would have used something like this to enhance. Great educational tool.

I’ve heard really good things about this program. My youngest is in 1st grade now, so I think we may have missed the boat on this one, though 🙂

These programs are great! If you have the time to work with them, this is a more inexpensive way (compared to preschool) to prepare them for school.

I signed up my son for Embark12 because he was going to be one of the younger ones in his Kindergarten class – it’s definitely helped him develop more skills as well as be more confident in the classroom. I’d definitely recommend!

Our littlest will be in Kindergarten next Fall, I can’t believe it either. Luckily my girls are Spring babies so go to school on time, though they’re a little ahead. Love that you’re doing programs like this with her and homeschooling a little too! She’ll be so ready!

My son is an October baby, so he will be one of the oldest in his class too. I have heard that the older kids do really well compared to some of the babies in the class. Great products. i will have to check them out!

It sounds like a great program. But the fact that she goes to preschool and you teach her at home, I’m sure she’ll be more than ready.

With an engaged mom like you your child will have a huge head start when she gets to kindergarten. My son is one of the youngest in his class and we worked hard to make sure he was ready to go.

Kids that age just love to learn so much. My littlest, who starts kindergarten this fall, is always trying to make me give him homework like his siblings. This would be fun for him to try!

That’s a great question – I asked that with my son (who now is in 1st grade) and my daughter who is only 4. Programs like these help to stimulate their minds and get them ready to be in classroom.

I love learning about programs like this one. My son will miss the cut off by 19 days, so he will be one of the oldest in his class as well. Still, I want to make sure he is ready and we do lots of fun home-preschool stuff with him now.

My husband is in listing in the military and I have been considering ways to continue her preschool education as we move next year. This seems perfect.
