The Turtle Brownies Recipe is a dessert that you will want to make at your next get together or family dinner. The turtle brownies recipe has chocolate, caramel sauce and pecans. It is easy to make turtle brownies in one bowl.
Pre-heat oven to 350° and spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk until well combined.
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter until light and fluffy. Mix in the sugar. Mix in the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Mix in the vanilla.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
Fold in the cup of chocolate chips, pecans, and caramels.
Spread into the prepared 9x13 pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. If the center is not done, reduce heat to 325° and cook an additional 15-20 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a microwave, add the mini chocolate chips and tablespoon of butter. Melt for 20 seconds and stir until smooth. If needed, melt for an additional 10-15 seconds. Sprinkle the ¼ cup of pecans over the top of the brownies. Drizzle the chocolate ganache and caramel syrup over the brownies. Sprinkle with the pink Himalayan salt.
