To start, in a large mixing bowl, add the Masa Harina and salt and combine.
First, you will create the dough by adding in water and combining.
Secondly, use your hands to create golf ball-sized dough balls.
Thirdly, make the dough 1/2" thick using your palms.
Next, place each of the dough circles, into a frying pan to cook on each side for one minute.
In addition, you allow them to cool for a bit after removing them from the heat. Then, when you were able to handle them begin to fold up the sides.
Furthermore, prepare your oil until it is hot, and gently begin adding in the sopes. The sopes should start to sink, and then float to the top. Once the sopes float to the top, you will begin your timer and fry for 2 minutes, then take out of the oil and place on paper towels to remove excess grease.
Finally, top with your favorite toppings and enjoy. (You can use refried beans, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and diced jalapenos)
