Elf Magic Elfcapades
We love holiday traditions. And we love Elves. I have been hearing about the cute Elfcapades going on in people homes for the past few years, but last year Serenity heard about it too. After talking about it, we have decided, we simply do not have enough chaos going on in our lives, and we wanted some more. So the girls wrote Santa a letter right before Thanksgiving asking him he could please send us a Christmas Elf to join our family.
So after rushing the letter off, using Santa Express of course, our magic Elf arrived a few days later. The girls and I were super surprised to find our new friend. She made her appearance, hiding in the refrigerator, with the cheese sticks of all places. I guess Santa told her how much my kids love cheese sticks, and knew they would find her hiding there.
She had 2 cheese sticks for the girls in her sack. Look she even started eating one for herself.
Serenity and Willow (the boys were sounds asleep, and the girls were not about the wait for them) were thrilled to meet Chelsea. After spending the morning playing with her and learning all about her, Serenity was a bit disappointed to learn that Chelsea will have to return to the North Pole on Christmas Eve, but still, the girls are so excited to see all the hijinks that Chelsea will bring over the next 28 days.
So far, she has already tried to change the “days till Christmas” card sitting on the computer desk. She tried to change it so there were more days. The girls were conflicted about that. They wanted Christmas to come, but, they want Chelsea to stay fora long time too. So they didn’t mind too much.
Every night, Serenity and Willow will be tucking our little Christmas Elf into her bed, nestled into her sack, with her crackers and ice cubes, both of which remind her oh home.
Then the girls will take turns to sprinkle her with the special North Pole Christmas snow. This special blend is what brings our little elf to life at night, causing her to hide and create her little Elfcapades.
We are excited to share our Elfcapades adventures with you this holiday season. If you are interested in starting your own Elf Magic traditions, it is easy. Sounds like it’s going to be really fun over Christmas at your house.

I have seriously contemplated picking one up and starting this same tradition. It is so sweet! That said, I’m kinda thinking my 10 yo will just find another way to get more gifts out of the deal??

Don’t you just love the little elves? My daughter pops out of bed every morning excited to see what our little elf got into the night before. Your elf is adorable! Can’t wait to see what else you come up with!
