The kids and I love fudge. It is something I get whenever we go to the beach. As we are walking down the boardwalk at the shore, I am stopping at every fudge shop. The problem with buying fudge, it is so expensive. It is usually around $14 a pound. Cake Mix Fudge, is easy to make and it takes all the effort out of making fudge. You only need 4 ingredients to make cake batter fudge and it tastes like the real thing. I don’t think there is an easy fudge recipe that is easier than cake mix fudge.
Cake Batter Fudge
In order to make cake mix fudge, you will need 4 things. A cake mix of your choice. We are making red velvet fudge, so we are using a red velvet cake batter. To the red velvet cake batter, you will be adding butter, milk and powder sugar. It is really that easy.
How Do You Make Easy Fudge?
Once you have gotten all the ingredients together for this easy fudge, it is simply a matter of mixing things together and pressing it into a pan. Put it into the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Once the fudge is set, you are ready to cut it into pieces and enjoy this easy fudge.
How Long Does Homemade Fudge Last
There is no exact timing on how long fudge will last. However, the fudge will usually stay fresh, if stored properly, for about a week to two weeks. If it is stored in the fridge, the fudge will stay good for about two to three weeks.How Do You Soften Fudge?
There are two methods to soften fudge. One way is to soften fudge is to wet a piece of bread or paper towel. Put it into a bag with the fudge. Seal the bag and let it set overnight. In the morning, the fudge will be moistened from the water being released from the bread. The other way to soften fudge is to microwave it. Place pieces of fudge about 1inch by 1 inch on a microwave safe plate. Microwave the fudge for 15 seconds.
How Long Does It Take For Fudge To Set?
After the Red Velvet Fudge is mixed together, it is time to put it in a pan and let it set. You will want to let the fudge set in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
Can You Put Fudge in the Freezer?
Fudge can be stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for two to three weeks. It can be frozen for up to three months when it is wrapped in wax paper, then aluminum foil, and then in an airtight container.

How To Make Red Velvet Fudge
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter

Cake Batter Red Velvet Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 cups Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
