I love scalloped potatoes. It has been one of my favorite dishes since I was a little kid. These days, I make Garlic Scalloped Potatoes. The kids love scalloped potatoes almost as much I do.

When I was little I would go to my great grandmother’s house every week. Because she knew how much I loved scalloped potatoes she would make them for at least once a month. Sometimes she would make garlic scalloped potatoes and I would melt. Later, after my great grandmother passed away, my grandmom started making them for me.
Over the years I have developed my own scalloped potatoes recipe. I try to make them as often as I can. It has become a dish that goes great with rotisserie chicken and even better with meatloaf. Honestly I think anything goes good with meatloaf. (This is one of my favorite: sloppy joe meatloaf) These garlic scalloped potatoes taste even better the next day.
My favorite thing about these garlic scalloped potatoes is that they have a buttery garlic sauce that reminds me when you cook the potatoes in the with the meat. The taste of garlic scalloped potatoes is “out of this world” good. I bet once you make them, you will be asked to bring them to every pot luck dinner.
