This Homemade Crayons Craft is so cool and easy to make. The craft only uses a few set materials to make the crayons. All you need is crayons, a mold, and a cookie sheet. The overall craft won’t take more than 15 minutes, so it’s perfect as a last-minute craft for the day or something to keep the kids busy for a bit.
Materials Needed:
- Crayons-You will need a 24 pack of crayons.
- Darth Vader Mold– You will be needing a Darth Vader Silicone Mold.
- Cookie Sheet- You will need to make sure to get a sturdy sheet.
How to Recycle Old Crayons Into New Ones
Begin by taking all the wrappers off each of the crayons.
Next, separate and match up colors.
Use your hands to break the crayons, this will help with fitting inside the mold.
Add the pieces into the molds.
Now, set the oven to 325 degrees.
Bring over the cookie sheet and arrange the molds on top.
Place the molds into the oven for 10-12 minutes. Use a toothpick to make sure there are no lumps in the mold from any crayons.
Remove the sheet from the oven and set it aside for the molds to cool thoroughly before taking them out.

- Peel the wrappers off all of the crayons.
- Sort the crayons by color.
- Break the crayons into small pieces that will fit inside your mold.
- Place broken crayon pieces inside each cavity of your mold.
- Preheat your oven to 325F.
- Place the silicone mold on a sturdy cookie sheet.
