Brought to you by Dr Pepper® and Albertsons Companies.
The kids are back in school. The leaves are already starting to change color. The weather is getting cooler. All of these things mean that football season is here! College football is a Saturday tradition in many homes, including ours. And football games mean snacks. Looking for an awesome game day snack idea? We are making Banging Very Simple Nachos and pairing it with Dr Pepper®.
I love nachos but I hate how the cheese never quite works the way it does at a restaurant. So my idea is to mix the cheese-y goodness in with the beef and then top everything with shredded cheese because… well… CHEESE!
Of course, no college football game is complete without Dr Pepper. I have loved Dr Pepper since I was a kid and it is funny hearing my kids talk about how amazing it is, like I don’t know. So, we always have it stocked in the house for get togethers. With such a big family, everything is a get together, so we always have it. Just in time for college football, Dr Pepper has rolled out new cans that celebrate our love for football, available at Albertsons Companies retailers. As an added bonus, you can get your fan gear too. Get your free fan gear when you BUY any 2 Dr Pepper 12-Pack 12oz Cans, 6-Pack 16.9oz Bottles or 8-Pack 12oz Bottles. Simply text FANGEAR to 811811.
