πŸ”ͺ How to Make Halloween Oreo Mummy Balls

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
Crush the cookies in a food processor until fine, or place them in a ziplock bag and smash with a rolling pin or mallet.

    breaking the cookies

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese. Beat on medium speed until fully blended.

adding the cream cheese to the cookies

Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Freeze for about an hour to firm up.

truffle balls on the cookie sheet

Melt the candy coating according to package instructions (I used the microwave in short intervals), setting a small portion aside for later drizzling.

dipping the mummy balls in the white chocolate

Dip the chilled balls into the melted coating, letting any excess chocolate drip off, and transfer to another parchment-lined sheet. Quickly press candy eyes near the top of each ball.

Adding the candy eyes to the oreo mummy balls

Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the coating harden.
Re-melt the reserved candy and transfer it to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip, or use a ziplock bag with the corner snipped.

drizzle the chocolate over the mummys

Drizzle back and forth across the coated balls to create mummy β€œwraps,” keeping the eyes visible.

    ⭐ Pro Tips ⭐

    • Use fork lift method when dipping to reduce clumps of chocolate.
    • If coating is too thick, add a little coconut oil to get it into liquid form.
    • Work in small batches so the Oreo mixture doesn’t soften too much.
    • To make Oreo mummy pops, insert lollipop sticks before dipping in chocolate.
    • These are one of our favorite easy no bake mummy treats for Halloween, and they’re great to make ahead!
