I love creating holiday themed cocktails. Over the years we have made quite a few. This year we will be making Rudolph’s Christmas Themed Cocktail. Featuring Cranberries, this cocktail has a sweet and tart combination that is sure to be a hit.
Can This Rudolph’s Nose Drink Be Made into a Mocktail
If you want to turn this into a mocktail, you can simply remove the vodka. That will turn this into a mocktail. I like to change the tonic water to Sprite or 7 up to make a delicious punch.
Can this Rudolph Cocktail Recipe be made ahead
You can make this Rudolph cocktail ahead of time by combining the ingredients, except for the ice. You will want to add the ice to each glass as you are ready to serve. Another option is to make the ice out of the cocktail itself. Mix together the liquid ingredients and then pour it into an ice cube tray. Then you can add these ice cubes to the drink bowl as your guests arrive. If these ice cubes melt, it will not water down the cocktail.
Can I use Cranberry Vodka with this Christmas Cocktail
If you would like to add an even bigger taste of cranberry to this Christmas cocktail, you can add cranberry vodka instead of regular vodka. If you can not find the cranberry vodka, you won’t miss it.

- Water
- Sugar
- Fresh cranberries
- Limes
- Tonic water
- Vodka
- Mint sprigs
How to Make Rudolf’s Christmas Themed Cocktail
Add water, sugar, and cranberries to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil
Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes
Strain the cranberries into a separate bowl and pour the syrup into another bowl and allow it to cool
Slice your limes and squeeze into a large pitcher
Combine the tonic water and vodka into the pitcher
Once the syrup has cooled, combine it into the pitcher
Pour ice into the glasses
Pour the spritzer over ice and top with fresh cranberries and mint

- 1 liter tonic water
- 1-2 cups Vodka
- Fresh Cranberry and mint sprigs topping
- ice
