    🥘Ingredients

    • white chocolate discs
    • pink chocolate discs
    • purple chocolate discs
    • teal chocolate discs
    • Wilton’s Unicorn Mix Sprinkles
    • multi-color shimmer nonpareils

    🔪Instructions

At the bottom of the post, you will find step-by-step instructions to make this recipe.

    🧾Substitutions

    • vanilla candiquick or almond bark – both of these will work.
    • chocolate candiquick – if you’d prefer to make chocolate bark, just use that instead.

    📖Variations

    • party theme – you can switch out the sprinkles and the unicorns for whatever look you are going for.

    🍽Equipment

    • parchment paper
    • baking sheet
    • 4 small microwave safe bowls
    • scissors
    • plastic bags

    🍶Storage

Counter: You can store any leftovers on the counter for up to two weeks. Make sure that you use an airtight container and keep it out of direct sunlight. Chocolate and the sun don’t work well together.

    🔎Top tips

    • do not overheat the chocolate in the microwave. It will set up and you can’t save it.
    • do NOT add gel food coloring. It will also cause the chocolate to seize up.
    • make sure to keep the bark out of the sunlight and away from a warm area, like a stove. It’s best kept in a cool part of your pantry or even in the fridge.

    FAQ

    What is Candy Bark

Candy bark looks a lot like a rough tree bark if you think about it. It’s also a semi-hard or hard candy, which you can add candy, nuts, or sprinkles too.

    What is White Candy Coating?

It’s a confectionary candy coating that doesn’t need tempering and is very easy to melt. Normally these contain sugar, vegetable oil, and milk.

How to thin out melted candy melts

If you think the candy is a little too thick, just add a few drops of vegetable oil. Continue adding the oil until you get it to the consistency you are looking for.

    Equipment

    • Parchment paper
    • Baking sheet
    • 4 small microwave safe bowls
    • Scissors
    • plastic bags
    • Knife

    Ingredients

    • 1 ½ cups white chocolate discs
    • ¼ cup pink chocolate discs
    • ¼ cup purple chocolate discs
    • ¼ cup teal chocolate discs
    • Wilton’s Unicorn Mix Sprinkles
    • multi-color shimmer nonpareils

    Directions

    • Prepare your cookie sheet by laying a piece of parchment paper on it.
    • Melt the white chocolate in the microwave. Place it in a microwave safe bowl and heat at 30 second increments at 50% power until it’s smooth and creamy. You will have to stir the chocolate as there may still be soft melts in the chocolate.
    • Spread the white chocolate on top of the parchment paper. Make sure that it’s smooth and level.
    • Next, shake on your shimmer nonpareils.
    • Lay out 3 small bowls and add the colored melts into each one. You’ll be the pink in one, the teal in one, and the purple in the other.
    • When it’s melted (following instructions for how to melt the white), place each color in a separate plastic bag and then snip off the corners of each bag.
    • Drizzle the colors all over the white chocolate bark. Then add on the unicorn sprinkles.
    • Let the chocolate completely dry. Then break apart. Enjoy!
