    The Best Places to Visit in Ohio

    Ohio is home to a huge range of attractions. If you’re going on vacation and you’re looking for sprawling parks with amazing waterfalls, or you’re just looking for bustling cities or college towns to explore, a higher offers all of that and more. If you’re heading to the Buckeye State, you need to make sure that you’re picking somewhere with a diversity of attractions to see. 

    Road tripping around Ohio is a fun thing to do, but planning is important. Whether you choose to book into Playhouse Square Cleveland OH on your way, or you stick to tents and campsites, it’s completely up to you. You get to book your trip and make it count for your time there. Let’s take a look at some of the best places to see along the way.

    1. Hocking Hills State Park. Those waterfalls we mentioned earlier are exactly where they need to be at Hocking Hills State Park.With the stunning caves to visit. Hocking Hills State Park in southeastern Ohio is one of the most beautiful destinations across the state. Whether you’re going on a family outing or a romantic getaway, there is so much to do and see. There are miles of hiking trails including Ash Cave Rim trails, which lead to Ash Cave. This is the largest recess in Cave in Ohio for you to explore.There is also the Six Mile long Grandma Gatewood Trail from the Welcome Centre to Old Man’s Cave. Adventures are ahead.
    2. Cincinnati. Charles Dickens once called Cincinnati one of the most interesting cities in America, and once you’ve been and traveled through it, you will be agreeing with gusto. This is a riverfront city and it’s home to several amazing neighborhoods from Eden Park to Mount Adams. You’ll find Findlay Market, Music Hall and some of the best shops and bars across the state right here in Cincinnati. Don’t forget to try some of the famous five way chili.
    3. Cleveland. You should definitely be stopping in Cleveland on your route. There is much to see here, and the city itself has 18 parks that offer you everything from golf to hiking trails to a whole zoo. You can watch the Cleveland Guardians play baseball here at Progressive Field, and you can head to the Cleveland Museum of Arts 61,000 plus works. There’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame right here too, so you can learn about music legends on your route.
    4. Sandusky. Right along the banks of Lake Erie, Sandusky is there for thrill seekers and water lovers. It’s home to Cedar Point, which is the most amazing amusement park in Ohio with some of the world’s tallest and fastest coasters. There are also rides that are designed especially for the little ones, plus a sports center, a water park and more. If you want to find something more for the family to enjoy, don’t forget to visit the Merry Go Round Museum and the Kalahari Resorts and Convention Centre.
