Help students get to know their classmates with this Free Back To School Classmate Bingo Printable. This fun classroom icebreaker gets kids talking, moving, and making new friends while finding classmates who match each square.

Make those first days in the classroom a little more comfortable with this Back to School Classmate Bingo printable. Instead of traditional bingo numbers, students search for classmates who match different descriptions on their bingo card. It is a simple and fun way to encourage kids to introduce themselves and learn interesting things about their new classmates.

The bingo squares include prompts such as finding someone who has a pet, loves pizza, plays a sport, likes to read, wears glasses, or has traveled to another state. Students need to talk to one another and ask questions to find someone who matches each description. Along the way, they can practice communication, listening, social skills, and confidence while learning how much they have in common.

This printable classmate bingo game is perfect for the first day of school, back-to-school week, classroom icebreakers, homeschool groups, clubs, and other activities where children are meeting new people. Teachers can use it to get students out of their seats and interacting instead of simply introducing themselves one at a time. It can also help children find shared interests that make starting conversations and forming new friendships easier.

Print one Free Back To School Classmate Bingo Printable sheet for each student and give everyone a pencil. Have students walk around the room and talk to their classmates to find someone who matches each description on the card. When they find a match, they can write that classmate’s name in the corresponding square.

You can have students try to complete one row, several rows, or the entire bingo card depending on how much time you have. Encourage them to speak with different classmates instead of using the same person’s name for every square. Once the activity is finished, bring everyone together and let students share some of the fun things they learned about their new classmates.
