Cheesecake Factory Louisiana Chicken Pasta Recipe
This Chicken Pasta Recipe is so good and full of amazing flavor. The recipe is packed with tons of seasonings and vegetables with some tender and crispy chicken. There is a lot of ingredients for this recipe, but it is well worth the effort because this recipe tastes just like the chicken pasta from the Cheesecake Factory.

Ingredients
- Red Pepper Flakes- This will add spice to the recipe.
- Cajun Seasoning- This will be an additional seasoning for a slightly spicy flavor.
- Salt- This will bring out the flavors in your recipe.
- Pepper- Season to taste
- Heavy Cream- This will help with the consistency.
- Chicken Stock- You will need chicken stock for this recipe.
- Cornstarch- This will be used as a thickening agent.
- Cheese- You will need shredded parmesan cheese.
- Chicken- They will need to be thinly sliced chicken breasts.
- Flour- Use all-purpose flour for the best results.
- Breadcrumbs- These will be used to bread the chicken.
- Eggs- Use these at room temperature.
- Vegetable oil- You can use canola oil as a substitute.
- Pasta- You will need Farfalle pasta for this recipe.
- Bell Peppers- You will need to slice some red, yellow, and green peppers.
- Onion- You will need to slice the red onion.
- Mushrooms- You will need a Crimini Mushroom and slice to prepare.
- Garlic- You will need minced garlic which will add a good aroma to the recipe.
- Parsley- This will be used to garnish the recipe and will need to be chopped.
How to Make Cheesecake Factory Louisiana Chicken Pasta Recipe
Start by adding all the sauce ingredients into a medium bowl and combine, then set aside.
Next, in a large pot, add in enough water for the pasta to go in. Bring the water to a boil and put in the pasta. Be sure to check the box for timing on how long to cook the pasta.
Secondly, you will want to take away the pot from the heat a minute before the recommended time of doneness on the box.
Using a strainer, drain all the water out of the pot, but do not rinse.
Next, in another bowl, add in the flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper and blend to combine. Then, set aside.
In a third bowl, add in the eggs and whisk to combine.
Arrange the breadcrumb bowl and egg bowl next to each other.
Place a piece of the chicken into the breadcrumbs to coat, then dip into the eggs, and then, right back into the crumbs to coat for a second time.
Use a tray to hold the chicken while you bread the rest of the chicken.
Place the butter into a skillet and melt over medium heat.
Cut up and prepare all of the veggies.
Next, add the bell peppers, onions, garlic, and mushrooms into the skillet. Then, cook the ingredients until they become light brown, this should take about 3-5 minutes. (Do not let the vegetables break down.)
After the vegetables are cooked, take them out of the pan and place them in a bowl. Set aside.
In a skillet, heat up the oil and place the chicken in. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side. (The chicken will be crispy and a golden brown)
Next, put the finished chicken on a plate. Then, pour out the oil into the pan.
Put both the cooked pasta and veggies into the skillet and combine.
Pour the sauce into the skillet and allow it to thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
While the ingredients are cooking in the skillet, slice the chicken.
Begin placing the pasta and veggies on separate plates, and top with the chicken slices.
Finish off the recipe with chopped parsley and parmesan cheese.

Storing the pasta is simple and easy to do. You can place the chicken pasta into an airtight container or Ziploc bag. Place in the fridge to store until your ready to eat again.
What kind of pasta to use for this Louisiana Chicken Pasta?
This recipe can technically use any pasta for it. But, for this recipe, the ingredients call for Farfalle. This is one of the best kinds of pasta to use especially for this recipe.

Copycat Cheesecake Factory Louisiana Chicken Pasta Recipe
Equipment
- 3- medium bowls
- large pot w/ lid
- tray
- Cast iron skillet
Ingredients
Cream Sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 C heavy cream
- 1 C chicken stock
- 1 TBSP cornstarch
- 1 C Parmesan Cheese shredded
Parmesan Crispy Chicken
- 4 chicken breasts thinly sliced
- 1/4 C flour
- 1 C breadcrumbs
- 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 4 TBSP vegetable oil
Pasta
- 1 Lb. Farfalle pasta
- 2 TBSP unsalted butter
- 2 Yellow peppers sliced
- 2 red peppers sliced
- 1 green pepper sliced
- 1 red onion sliced
- 2 packages Crimini mushrooms sliced
- 1 TBSP minced garlic
- Garnish: 1/2 C parsley chopped
Directions
- In a medium bowl add the sauce ingredients together.
- Stir to blend.
- Set aside.
- Add water to the large pot, bring to a boil, and add the pasta. Check the box for timing on cooking the pasta.
- Remove the pot from the heat one minute short of the length of time listed on the box.
- Drain the pot but do not rinse.
- In the second bowl blend the dry ingredients (flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper) together. Set aside.
- Whisk the eggs in the third bowl.
- Line the breadcrumb mixture bowl next to the whisked egg bowl.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, next into the whisked eggs, and back to the breadcrumb mixture for a second time.
- Transfer each piece of coated chicken to a tray. Set aside.
- Put the skillet on medium heat, add butter. Add the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the melted butter. Cook the veggies until they begin to brown for about 3-5 minutes. (Do not let the vegetables break down.)
- Transfer the cooked veggies to a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in the skillet. Cook the chicken for 3-5 minutes on each side. (The chicken will be crispy and a golden brown)
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate.
- Drain the oil.
- Return the pasta and veggies to the skillet.
- Add the sauce mixture to the skillet. Stir to mix.
- Let the sauce thicken stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- Slice the chicken while watching the sauce, veggies, and pasta.
- Add the pasta and veggies to individual serving plates.
- Top with the sliced chicken on each plate.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
