    Leprechaun Hat Ring Toss

This game can be easily made at home and is perfect for indoor or outdoor gatherings. All you need is a green Leprechaun hat and some plastic rings or bean bags. Set up the hat on a table or the ground with different point values assigned to each section of the hat. Each player takes turns tossing the rings onto the hat, trying to get as many points as possible. The player with the highest score at the end wins!

    Irish Poker

This game is perfect for a group of friends who love card games and a bit of luck. All you need is a deck of cards and some drinks. Each player is dealt four cards face down, which they hold up to their forehead without looking at them. Players then take turns guessing what their card is and can either choose to take a sip or pass. If they guess incorrectly, they must take a drink. The player with the most drinks at the end loses.

    Shamrock Hunt

This game is perfect for kids and adults alike. Hide green shamrocks (can be cut out of construction paper) around your home or party venue and have players search for them. The player who finds the most shamrocks wins a prize, or can get to choose a drink for someone else to finish.

    Blarney Stone

This game is perfect for those who love a physical challenge and don’t mind getting a bit silly. Take turns blindfolding players and having them try to find and kiss the “Blarney Stone” (can be a large rock or designated spot on the ground). The player who successfully kisses the Blarney Stone without using their hands wins.

    Irish Jig Dance-off

For a fun and energetic game, have players take turns dancing to traditional Irish music. Each player must come up with their own jig dance, with their own dance move, and can even add in props like hats or scarves. The player who has the most creative and entertaining jig wins.

    Irish Movie Bingo

This game is perfect for movie buffs and can be played during a St. Patrick’s Day movie marathon. Create bingo cards with common themes or elements found in Irish movies, such as leprechauns, pubs, or green landscapes. As players watch the movies, they mark off squares on their bingo card when they spot these elements. The first person to get a bingo wins.

Luck of the Irish St Patrick’s Day Trivia

Challenge your guests’ knowledge of Irish culture and history with a round of trivia. Create questions about famous Irish landmarks, traditional foods, and other fun facts. The player who answers the most questions correctly wins. Every time someone answers incorrectly, it is time for a drink.

    St. Patrick’s Day Charades

Put a twist on the classic game of charades by making all the prompts related to St. Patrick’s Day. Players must act out things like leprechauns, pots of gold, or Irish dances. The player who successfully guesses the most prompts wins. This is always a good time because everyone gets sillier and sillier the more drinks they take.

    Leprechaun Limbo

Set up a limbo stick and have players take turns trying to limbo under it while wearing a leprechaun hat or carrying a shamrock. Each round, the stick gets lower and lower until only one player is left who can successfully make it under. This player wins the game.

This game gets funnier and funnier to more drinks you have had.

    Green Beer Pong

For a more adult-themed game, gather some green cups and fill them with beer (or any other drink of choice). Set up the cups in a triangle formation on each end of a long table. Players take turns trying to throw ping pong balls into their opponent’s cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the opposing player must drink its contents. The first player to successfully eliminate all of their opponent’s cups wins.

    Pot of Gold Card Game

Create a deck of cards with St. Patrick’s Day themed images on them, such as shamrocks, leprechauns, and rainbows. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in the center of the table. Each player takes turns flipping over two cards at a time.

If they match, the player gets to keep the cards and go again. If they do not match, the player must take a drink and place the cards back face down. The player with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.

    Green Thumb

Paint one of your nails green before the party. If someone catches you with the green nail, you take a sip.

    Lucky Charms Challenge

Fill bowls with Lucky Charms cereal. Assign a different action to each marshmallow shape. When someone picks a marshmallow from their bowl, they perform the associated action or drink

    Rainbow Connection

Create a rainbow using different colored drinks. Assign a rule or action to each color, and when someone drinks from that color, they follow the rule (e.g., green means everyone takes a sip).

Want to test everyone’s abilities after a few drinks? Have a rainbow snack station. Have everyone make these rainbows on a stick. Definitely good for a few laughs.

    Irish Toast Challenge

Challenge participants to come up with creative and funny Irish drinking toasts. The best toastmaker gets to create a rule for everyone to follow, like taking a drink whenever someone says “cheers.” This is fun in different color shot glasses.

    Lucky Number Sevens

Each player rolls two dice, and if they get a sum of seven, they assign drinks to others. The player with the lucky touch avoids drinking.

    Irish Word Association

Pick an Irish-themed word, and players take turns saying related words. If someone hesitates or repeats a word, they take a drink.

    Green Thumb Mastermind

Choose a “Green Thumb” for each round. The Green Thumb secretly does a gesture or action, and others have to mimic it. The last to catch on takes a drink.

    Shamrock Spin

Create a wheel with different challenges or tasks written on it. Spin the wheel, and whoever it lands on must complete the challenge or take a drink.

    Irish Pennies

Before starting, each player contributes a few coins to a pot. Throughout the night, players can challenge each other to various tasks, and the loser adds a coin to the pot. The person with the fewest coins at the end gets a special reward.

This year, skip the pub crawl. Haw more fun with these St Paddy’s day games.

    Scavenger Hunt

This scavenger hunt was originally designed for kids but you can easily use it for an adult St. Patrick’s Day party too. Or it is a fun way to get the kids involved in the day too.
