🧾Substitutions
- vanilla candiquick or almond bark – both of these will work.
- chocolate candiquick – if you’d prefer to make chocolate bark, just use that instead.
📖Variations
- party theme – you can switch out the sprinkles and the unicorns for whatever look you are going for.
🍽Equipment
- parchment paper
- baking sheet
- 4 small microwave safe bowls
- scissors
- plastic bags
🍶Storage
Counter: You can store any leftovers on the counter for up to two weeks. Make sure that you use an airtight container and keep it out of direct sunlight. Chocolate and the sun don’t work well together.
🔎Top tips
- do not overheat the chocolate in the microwave. It will set up and you can’t save it.
- do NOT add gel food coloring. It will also cause the chocolate to seize up.
- make sure to keep the bark out of the sunlight and away from a warm area, like a stove. It’s best kept in a cool part of your pantry or even in the fridge.
