Looking for a healthy fruit dip? One that is packed with protein, low and sugar and is only 2 Weight Watcher points for the WHOLE bowl? Yeah, it is that good!
Healthy Peanut Butter Fruit Dip
I love sweets. There is no denying it. I am awful with it. Since we have started Weight Watchers, I have seen just how much I am a sucker for sweets. I get horrible cravings for it. Sadly, while I have been eating fruit to help with it, sometimes, fruit just isn’t enough. I NEED something that reminds me of eating dessert. But that’s ok, because I have found something.
High Protein Snack
Eating protein is the key to feeling full. It is the protein that keeps you from being hungry again in about 30 minutes. If you have ever tried just eating fruit or vegetables and found yourself starving again soon, this is why. That snack needs some protein. Since starting Weight Watchers, Greek Yogurt is my best friend. While I can not stand the stuff plain, I am finding that if I add some yummy things to it, I love it. 3/4 cup of Greek Yogurt is 19 grams of protein. While I am not sure how much I need in a day, I know my 15-year daughter who is an athlete and a vegetarian needs 50 grams. So I am always looking for high protein snacks. She will eat this dip as is, no fruit needed as a protein boost before practice. When I make healthy fruit dip for her, I do use real sugar, but that is the luxury of high metabolism.
How Many Weight Watcher Points is Peanut Butter Dip?
When I make this healthy fruit dip, I use Splenda to sweeten it. I also use PB2 in it. That is where the points come in. I use the Chocolate Peanut Butter which is 1 point per 2 tablespoons. I use 3 tablespoons, so technically it is 1 point for the whole bowl, but it is really 1.5 and I can’t do a half a point so I say 2. But I can tell you, even with my sweet tooth, I can not eat the whole bowl, so it comes out to 0 points for me.
- Blue: 1 point
- Purple: 1 Point
- Green: 2 Points

What about Sweetness?
When I am making this as a Weight Watchers Fruit Dip, I use Splenda. It is my 0 Calorie sweetener of choice. I like it because it is an equal ration to real sugar and it has the least amount of artificial sweetener aftertaste to me. However, you can use Stevia, honey, agave or whatever sweetener you like, including real sugar. Just know that depending on the sweetener, it might change the point value. If you like the taste of Greek Yogurt, you can avoid the sweetener altogether.
