What are Lentil Beans

Lentil beans are part of the legume family. They are high in nutrition, low in fat and have no cholesterol. They are also a great choice for protein.

Do Lentils Have to Be Soaked

Unlike other beans, these lentil beans do not need to be soaked before you cook them. Simply put the lentil in a pot with water and seasoning and boil.

How Long Do Cooked Lentils Last

Once you have cooked the lentils, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The lentils will last up to 4 days when stored properly.
