Can I Make This Ahead and Freeze for Later?
I love anything that makes life easier and that includes freezer meals. You can make this sloppy Joe meatloaf ahead and freeze it for later. You can cook it before freezing or you can freeze it after baking it. When I make this homemade meatloaf baked and ready to go, I like to freeze it in individual slices so that I can make it as one meal at a time.

Can you just add all of the sloppy Joe sauce in to the meat?because when I make meatloaf I don’t immediately cook it right away,I usually put it in the fridge overnight and cook it a few days later (2,3 days) and I afraid that if I left a opened can of sloppy Joe sauce uncovered it will dry out when I come to use it for the toppings.

Oh Yes! I did indeed make this meatloaf and put 4different peppers,(green yellow red and orange)and it was a home run, moist and soft I covered the tray with aluminum foil, and was fully cooked, when you cut the meat it becomes crumbly like what you get at Golden Corral. But next time when I make this meatloaf again I’ll probably put just two peppers use a larger can of sloppy Joe sauce (I used a 15oz,can of Kroger brand sloppy Joe sauce)a smaller pack of hamburger,I use a 5and a half pound ground beef to make the sloppy Joe meatloaf and use either flour or corn starch to hold the meat loaf together, to make the meatloaf moist bind together I used oatmeal to get the meat come together as a hold, the funny thing when this meatloaf cooks it smells like sloppy Joe and at first you might get the feeling this meatloaf might turn out to be the recipe on the oatmeal carton but when you taste it you know its a sloppy Joe recipe and when you put ketchup in it, it doesn’t take away the flavor of sloppy Joe of what is supposed to be. Now it’s my go to recipe for variety from the usual same meatloaf, and now I’m going to try a garlic meatloaf next time.
