HI. Welcome to my world. I am a 40 something year old mom to a lot of kids and a lot of pets. When I am not busy with the kids, grandkids, or animals, I love to do crafts and read. I love to knit and can often be found working on a baby blanket or another project.

What is the mission of Our Wabi Sabi Life?

Our Life isn’t Perfect, but it is Perfect for us. And that is exactly what Wabi Sabi is all about, Perfectly Imperfect. We are a big family that is always on the go. We love to share delicious recipes, some very healthy and some downright decadent. We have something for everyone. With a lot of family fun and travel, easy crafts on a budget, and ways to help your home run more smoothly, we want to help you get more fun out of every single day!

Why type of website is OWSL?

OWSL is a lifestyle blog that focuses on ways to get more fun in everyday life. From simple recipes that help you get dinner on the table fast to simple crafts, to fun things to do together, whether it is games, movies, or traveling.

Because I am in the unique position of having grown kids, raising kids, and having grandkids, I can relate to most stages of life and provide content to reach everyone.

Do you have a family?

Oh boy, do I. I am a mom of 6 kids, and 4 grandkids, and another on the way. Because we are a blended family, I have two 25-year-old sons, a 24-year-old daughter, a 24-year-old son, a 19-year-old daughter, and a 13-year-old daughter.

We also have 8 cats, 2 dogs, 2 gerbils, and a hamster, and spend a lot of time at the barn, where we lease a horse.
