I love when I can make crafts from the using materials from the dollar store. I love crafting but some craft materials can be expensive. I make a point of making sure all the crafts I make are made from materials that don’t cost a fortune. It doesn’t make any sense to craft if I can buy something similar for less, even if making it myself comes with a lot of satisfaction.

Since this craft only takes two things in order to make it, and both are available at the dollar store, this craft is a simple dollar store craft.

These dollar store Halloween craft are so cute and simple to make, they would make a great Halloween Party Decoration. Simply make a lot of them and have them all around the room. Whether you light them or not, the candles will look really cute and your guests might even ask to take them home, so I suggest you make a lot of them. You can find these candles just about anywhere. You can find them at Walmart and possibly even the thrift store.

Are These Safe to Burn?

Yes, this Ghost Candles dollar store Halloween craft are safe to burn. Because the only thing we are doing to the candles is adding the faces with the permanent marker, nothing has changed with the candles.

Types of Ghost Candles

I have made these ghost candles with 2 different types of candles. Both are cute. It just depends on which look you are going for.

Supplies Needed

• White Candles – These candles can be tall white candles in glass. Short candles, like the size of votives, or even pillar candles.
• Black Permanent Marker

How to make Ghost Candles

Find what section of the white candle you want to be the front.

Draw the face of the ghost. You can do cute, scary or anything in between.
