Mint Chocolate Frosting Fudge

Life is all about indulging in moderation. That’s one of the reasons I love finding quick and easy recipes like this one to make.

It’s budget-friendly, simple, and satisfies that chocolate craving. And since my family loves it, they eat it up in no time, which really helps with limiting my portion of this scrumptious chocolate treat.

Which Ready-made Frosting to use for this Chocolate Fudge with Chocolate Chips?

Any type of frosting can be used. Depending on the type of fudge you are making, you can choose from different flavors but any brand will work well with this chocolate fudge with chocolate chips.

How to Store the Mint Chocolate Frosting Fudge

When you are storing fudge, you want to keep it stored in an air tight container. It will last for about a month when it is stored at room temperature. You can also store the fudge in the refrigerator and freezer for up to 3 months.

Can I freeze Frosting Fudge

You can, however, it will have a different texture after it’s thawed out.

Have you seen our St. Patrick’s Day items in the Our Wabi Sabi Life shop? Things like home decor and fun for kids like St. Patrick’s Day placemats or scavenger hunt.

What Makes the Mint Flavor in this Mint Chocolate Frosting Fudge

The mint flavor in this recipe comes from using Mint Extract. Make sure you are using mint and not peppermint, since this is a different flavor.

Bonus: This is a perfect recipe for Saint Patrick’s Day. If you want to make it perfect for Saint Patrick’s Day you could cut it with a shamrock cookie cutter, package the fudge in St. Patrick’s Day bags or decorate the top with gold sanding sugar. You can also make your own sanding sugar which is extremely easy to do. Want to turn this green fudge into a great idea for Christmas? Use red sanding sugar and Christmas bags.
