    Today is March 2nd which means that it is Dr. Suess’s Birthday! I grew up reading Dr. Seuss Books and so did my kids! Dr. Suess was actually a big part of them learning how to read. Once they got the reading thing down, they were always wanting to read Dr. Seuss Books! In light of the special day, I wanted to make some goodies to celebrate. I grabbed my Cat in the Hat book and whipped up some Cat in the Hat Treats!

    These Cat in the Hat snacks are so easy to make and I know you all can make them too! Plus, I have to admit, they were pretty delicious!

    Use these as a Cat in the Hat Cupcake Topper

    A lot of people like to make Cat in the Hat cupcakes and these make a really cute Cat in the Hat Cupcake topper idea. Simply stick the end of the lollipop stick into the top of the cupcake. It is a delicious and easy way to make a Cat in the Hat cupcake topper.

    How Long does this Cat in the Hat Recipe Last

    Because these are fresh cut strawberries and fresh cut bananas, you want to make them right before they are going to be eaten. This gives the best flavor. You can add a little lemon juice to the bananas to prevent them from turning brown.

    Easy Cat in the Hat Snack Kids Can Make

    These Cat in the Hat treats are so easy to make that you can have your children line up and make their own! They are so easy and so much fun make. The best part about making these Cat in the Hat treats with your little, is the everlasting memories you will be creating and at the end of the day, that is one of the most important thing!

    Ingredients in Cat in the Hat Snack

    • Wilton(R) 8 Inch Cookie Sticks
    • Wilton 609-1192 Black Food Writer Edible Ink Markers (2-Pack)
    • Jumbo Marshmallows
    • Banana’s
    • Strawberries

    How to Make this Cat in the Hat Recipe

    First thing to do is slice up your bananas and strawberries.

    Grab those marshmallows and start drawing on their faces. That was the fun part!

    Once your faces are drawn on all you have to do is put them on the stick.

    Start with the marshmallow and the top of the candy stick.

    Layer your Bananas and Strawberries and you got yourself Cat in the Hat treats!
