You want to cut the cauliflower into thick slices, about 1 inch thick slices. You should be able to get 4 1 inch thick steak cauliflower slices using 2 cauliflowers.

How Many Weight Watchers Points in Cauliflower Steaks

When you make this cauliflower recipe from 2 heads of cauliflower, it comes in at 2 points for each plan. You can decrease the points by lowering the amount of oil or Parmesan cheese in this recipe, but I think it is worth the 2 points for how delicious it is.

    Roasted Parmesan Cauliflower Steaks

    Ingredients

    • Cauliflower
    • Extra virgin olive oil
    • Italian seasoning
    • Garlic
    • Crushed red pepper flakes
    • Parmesan cheese
    • Salt and black pepper

Tip: Feel free to season and roast any remaining cauliflower florets from the edges of each head along with the larger “steaks” or reserve for another recipe.

How to Make Roasted Cauliflower Steaks

Place top oven rack in center position and preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat® baking mat and set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes.

Place cauliflower “steaks” on prepared baking sheet and brush with the seasoned olive oil mixture on both sides. Sprinkle half of grated Parmesan cheese on top and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Place in the pre-heated oven and roast for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and carefully flip each “steak” and sprinkle with remaining cheese and a bit more salt and pepper, if desired.

Return to oven and roast for another 15-20 minutes or until the cooked cauliflower is fork tender and golden brown. Remove from oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
