Looking for a simple cauliflower fried rice keto recipe? You need this recipe. This Cauliflower fried rice has 4 net carbs and can be a 0 Point meal on Weight Watchers. You need to have this recipe in your collection if you are following a healthy eating plan.
Why Cauliflower Fried Rice
This “rice” is perfect for Keto, Weight Watchers, Clean Eating and Paleo. It is the perfect recipe. Even people who do not like cauliflower, like my husband and kids, think this is a fantastic recipe.
Want to Make Cauliflower Fried Rice Vegan
This cauliflower rice recipe can easily be made in a vegan recipe. Replace the butter with olive oil or butter substitute of your choice and replace the eggs with a substitute or remove it completely. Then this becomes a Cauliflower Fried Rice Vegan Recipe. You can even add tofu or the chik’n type “meats” from companies like Morning Star.
How Many Weight Watchers Points in Cauliflower Fried Rice?
If you make this recipe exactly as written the Weight Watchers Points are 4. If you remove the butter, use cooking spray instead it is 2 points. You can make it even less points by removing the Sesame Oil. I like to keep it because I like the flavor it gives the rice. It gives it a more authentic flavor. If you want to make this a 0 point dish, remove the oil and it becomes 0 points.
Cauliflower Fried Rice with Chicken
Add cooked chicken breast, diced cooked pork, diced shrimp or any other protein you like. This rounds out the meal and creates a filling recipe whether you are eating keto or WW.
Equipment for Cauliflower Fried Rice
Wok: While it is not necessary to have a wok for this recipe, it is helpful. It is because of how a wok heats that makes it work so well with this and other Asian recipes. I like this Wok. It is inexpensive and works great.
Ricer: While I call for frozen rice in this recipe, that is more for convenience. I find that I can get whole heads on cauliflower cheaper. Then I simply use my ricer to do it myself. I get 3 times as much “rice” for less than the frozen bags.
