Nutcracker Movie
When Clara finds herself in a strange and mysterious parallel world that’s home to Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets, she must brave the ominous Fourth Realm and its ruling tyrant, Mother Ginger, to return harmony to the unstable world.
All Clara is a key. A one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip, a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

Free Christmas Coloring Pages
Coloring pages are always a huge hit in our house. Whether it is for a new movie or a just because, coloring pages are always great to have n hand. During the holiday season, I make sure to have a lot of Christmas coloring pages on hand. The Nutcracker is always considered a Christmas themed time for us and I love having these Nutcracker coloring pages as Christmas coloring pages.
Nutcracker Inspired Treat
During Christmas, we tend to have a lot of Nutcrackers around the house. It started with my ex-husband, who loved them, and it became something that the girls started to love. So, because the girls love them, we have a lot of Nutcracker decorations. When the Nutcracker was announced as a 2018 movie, I knew I wanted to have a Nutcracker Inspired treat.

Nutcracker Rice Krispie Treats
Tip: You will need a small cake decorating kit for this project. You will need piping bags and 2 tips, the #2 tip and a star tip. This set has everything you need for this project as well as many others.
Ingredients:
1 Box of Rice Krispy Treats, unwrapped and set aside
1 tube of black cookie icing
1 tube of red cookie icing
1 tube of white cookie icing
1 tube of yellow cookie icing
1 container of gold peal dust (Found in Michaels cake decorating aisle)
1 Package of Mustache sprinkles (Found in Hobby Lobby cake decorating aisle)
4 disposable piping bags fitted with a number 2 tip
1 disposable piping bag fitted with a small star tip
1 small fine tip paint brush
Directions
Squeeze the Black, Red, Yellow and white cookie icing into one of the piping bags fitted with a number 2 tip
Using the black piping bag pipe a line along the top of the rice Krispy to create the hat for the Nutcracker
Using the red piping bag, pipe the line and fill in with the red icing
Using the white icing, fill in the little square. Fill the sides with white icing using the star tip.
Pipe a small dot onto the back of the mustache and place into the lower center of the rice Krispy
Pipe 2 dots above the mustache for the eyes
Using the yellow icing, pipe an upside down triangle on the hat
Pipe two yellow dots on both sides of the triangle
Allow to dry for 2 hours
Using the paintbrush, dip it into the pearl dust and brush it onto the yellow detail for an extra shimmer.
