A dessert that I always have on hand is apple cobbler. It is one of Don’s favorite. He loves apple pie, apple cobbler, pretty much anything with baked apples. The classic apple cobbler recipe isn’t hard but it is something that takes a little time and several steps. I don’t want to go through all of that. That is where the #6PackHacks come into play. I made this amazingly simple apple cobbler recipe that takes almost no prep time at all. It takes about 65 minutes to make, and 60 of those minutes are spent in the oven. Yep, it is that easy.
It was gone the first night. So for Donny’s birthday, that is what he wanted for his birthday treat. I think I have made this apple cobbler recipe 3 times in the past 3 weeks. It comes together in no time at all and disappears just as fast.
Quick and Easy Apple Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients:
One Vanilla or white cake mix
2 cans of Apple pie filling
1 stick of butter- melted
Pro Tip: It is important that you have all of the ingredients or special items before you start on a recipe. It makes life easier and more enjoyable. I love to buy things on amazon market because I really hate dragging the kids out to the store.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Pour the 2 can of apple pie filling in the bottom of a 9*13 cake pan.
Pour the dry cake mix over the pie filling, spreading it evenly.
Pour the stick of melted butter over the cake mix. You want to cover all sections of the cake mix or you will have dry patches.
Bake for 55-60 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Pairs great with vanilla ice cream.
