Packed with fat, this special treat is not nice to my waistline. But with this recipe for Jalapeno Popper Dip, I can indulge in one of my favorite foods and not have to worry about it. These are a healthy option.
Does Jalapeno Popper Dip Have to Be Made in the Crock Pot
I love to throw all the ingredients in the crock pot and let it cook and it is ready when we are. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can easily switch to make it in the oven. Put it in a baking dish and heat it through for about 20 minutes. The cheese will be perfectly melted when it is done.
Is there a Jalapeno Popper Dipping sauce
While traditional poppers can use a dipping sauce, with this dip you don’t need one. The dip itself is the Jalapeno Popper Dipping Sauce.

Can This Hot Dip be Served Cold
While this dip is served hot, you can eat it cold. I prefer it hot because I like the cheese to be melted and ooey and gooey. My daughter loves to eat it even when it is cold because she just loves the dip. So with that, I guess it is a personal choice, but most people prefer it hot.

- fat free cream cheese
- light mayonnaise
- fat free sour cream
- low fat Colby jack cheese
- shredded fat free cheddar cheese
- green onions
- jalapenos
- pimentos
How to Make Jalapeno Popper Dip
Mix together all ingredients except for half of the amounts of the shredded cheeses in a large bowl.
Transfer mixture into a greased small sized slow cooker and top with the remaining shredded cheeses.
Cook on low for 2-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours.
Serves 8-12

Ingredients
- 16 oz packages fat free cream cheese softened 2 packages
- ½ cup light mayonnaise
- ½ cup fat free sour cream
- ¾ cup low fat Colby jack cheese divided
- ¼ cup shredded fat free cheddar cheese divided
- ¼ cup green onions chopped
- 8 jalapenos chopped (seeds removed for less heat, if desired)
- 1 jar pimentos drained
Directions
