How Do I Keep Homemade Ice Cream Fresh in the Freezer?

You want to keep this homemade ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer. It is important to keep the ice cream frozen except when serving it. If you are worried about getting freezer burn, you can also place a layer of plastic wrap directly on the ice cream before adding the lid. Press it into the ice cream to help protect it.
