Hocus Pocus Cocktail for Halloween
If you are like me, you love Hocus Pocus and you need the perfect Hocus Pocus Cocktail. Last year for our annual watch party we made Hocus Pocus Halloween Alcoholic Punch to use with our Hocus Pocus Drinking Game.
This year I wanted to make something different and we decided on this flavor combination. Of course, we made Hocus Pocus Chocolate Cookies too.
What Makes the Drink Shimmery
This cocktail has a shimmery look to it. It gives it that magical look. You can find the cake shimmer in the cake decorating aisle or you can order it online. I get my Silver Shimmer on Amazon. If you choose to skip the shimmer, it will not change the flavor of the drink.
Does This Cocktail Use Dry Ice for Serving?
You do not need to serve this cocktail using dry ice. However, if you are using the Hocus Pocus cocktail at a party and want to create a fun display, place the remade cocktails on a table and use dry ice to create the smokey effect like it is in the picture. The dry ice is only for special effects and does not change the flavor.
How Many Weight Watchers Points in this Halloween Cocktail
This cocktail is not Weight Watchers friendly, but sometimes, who cares. Especially when you are having a good time.
This might be something that you will want to save your weeklies to enjoy. The 8 ounce drink comes in at 9 Weight Watchers Points on all plans.

- 3 ounces pineapple juice
- 3 ounces orange juice
- 2 ounces Gold Rum
- 2 ounces Apple Brandy
- 1 ounce Blue Curaçao
- ⅛ teaspoon Silver cake shimmer

Is 1 tsp of cake shimmer correct for this recipe? We made it tonight and not only did it continue to settle on the surface of the drink, but it also stained our lips. I feel like 1/8 tsp would have sufficed!

This is a very delicious drink. The shimmer adds so much beauty to the cocktail itself. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it’s actually an aqua green, not a lime green like the picture shows. I had a funny feeling that would happen when they said to mix orange juice with blue Curaçao, but it’s still very good! The good news is that since it’s not lime green it’s appropriate for any time of year!
