    I love iced tea. It might be my favorite thing to drink no matter if it is hot or cold. I like to make a quart or so at a time. With this recipe, it is easy to have great tasting peach iced tea anytime.

    With this Peach Iced Tea recipe, you can make a lot of different drinks

    • Ginger Peach tea- Want Ginger Peach Iced Tea? Add 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger that is finely minced while boiling.
    • Peach Iced Tea Cocktail – If you want to use this Peach Iced Tea as a base for a cocktail you can add either Peach Schnapps or Vodka. 

    How Much Sugar in Peach Iced Tea

    This is where personal preference comes in. When I am making a new iced tea recipe, I always start low on the sugar and add more as needed. My family likes about 1 cup of sugar to a 2-quart pitcher of iced tea.

    Ingredients for Peach Iced Tea including Weight Watcher version

    • water
    • black tea bags
    • fresh peaches
    • sugar  (for WW, use Stevia)
    • Optional garnish:
    • fresh mint sprigs

    How to Make Peach Tea on the Stove Top

    1. In a large pot, add the water and tea bags. Add in the peaches. Cover. (If you do not cover, then the water will boil away)
    2. Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
    3. Strain the liquid and pour into a pitcher. Add sugar to taste.
    4. Refrigerate and serve over ice.

    How to Make Peach Iced Tea in the Instant Pot

    1. Add water, tea bags, peaches, and fresh ginger to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
    2. Add lid and lock into place. Switch the vent to “Sealing” and set the “Manual” setting on normal for 5 minutes.
    3. When finished, allow pressure to release naturally (NR) for 10-15 minutes, then do a quick release (QR) to allow the remaining pressure to escape.
    4. Carefully strain hot tea mixture with a fine mesh strainer to remove the solids. Pour the remaining liquid into a large, heat-resistant pitcher.
    5. Sweeten with sugar, to taste, and stir to combine. Cool slightly before serving over ice with peach slices and sprigs of fresh mint, if desired. Enjoy!

    • 6 organic black tea bags paper tags removed
    • 4 fresh peaches pitted and cut into chunks
    • 1 T. fresh ginger finely minced

    Notes

    Tip: Remove tea bags as soon as the pressure has been fully released to prevent bitterness. If you prefer stronger tea and want to leave the bags in longer, add a pinch of baking soda prior to brewing.
