I personally think that they’re just as good! WhileI love traditional fried donuts, my weight loss and healthy eating plan does not. I need to have these WW desserts on hand because I need my sweets. So I have to find low point options, like these lemon glazed strawberry donuts.
Are Baked Donuts Healthy?
I don’t know if I would say that the baked donuts are healthy. I mean, they are low fat and low sugar. They are also low in points. However, they do not really offer much in nutrition. I would say these are a better choice than traditional versions. That being said, I certainly eat these lemon strawberry doughnuts for breakfast and as a way to start my day.
How to freeze or store for later
These strawberry donuts are best when served fresh, but you can store them in an airtight container for up to three days. Just make sure they’re kept in a cool place and not exposed to too much heat or humidity.
You can also freeze them so that you can have them on hand whenever you want them. I like to take the extras that will not get eaten on the first day and move them to the freezer. Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
Fresh strawberries are best in this recipe. It will give you the best texture for the strawberries. However, if you only have frozen strawberries, you can use them. Let them thaw completely and then pat them dry.

You can use lemon juice concentrate in this recipe. The concentrate is a stronger flavor than using a fresh lemon so just add the lemon juice concentrate slowly. When you get a strong enough lemon taste, you can add water to thin the glaze to the desired consistency.
